Privacy
Last updated 17 August 2026.
This page is for people using the Bible Study Guide website or the installed app on a phone or computer. You can study with no account. An optional account is only for carrying scores, bookmarks, and the reading plan across devices.
What stays on this device
Theme (dark or light) and text size stay in this browser. They are not sent to the cloud. The last chapter you opened, and similar reading preferences, also stay here unless you sign in.
If you never sign in
Quiz scores, bookmarks, and the reading plan are saved in this browser only. Clearing the site data in your browser removes them. We do not get an email address from you in that case.
If you create an account
You give an email address and a password. Sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth. We do not see your password. When you are signed in, we store quiz, exam, and final attempts; bookmarks; and reading-plan settings. That is so another phone or computer can pick up where you left off. We do not sell this. We do not use it for ads.
Download and delete
On Scores you can download a copy of scores, bookmarks, and the plan. Remove my study data clears those items on this device, and from the cloud if you are signed in. Theme, text size, and the email login stay. Email if you need the login itself closed.
Cookies and similar
This site uses the browser’s own storage, not advertising cookies. There is no third-party ad network on these pages.
Scripture
Scripture quotations are based on the World English Bible, a public domain modern English translation produced by eBible.org. The divine name, printed in the World English Bible in small capitals, is set here in ordinary capitals as a matter of house style; the wording of the translation is otherwise unchanged. “World English Bible” is a trademark of eBible.org.
